It’s a quiet area and the hotel was generally peaceful. Our one-room apartment had a kitchenette with a fridge, little freezer, stove, kettle, toaster, a small saucepan and frying pan. The equipment was basic, really just enough to make breakfast, which suited us fine. Towels were replaced every other day and rubbish was taken out daily. There’s a small supermarket about 200 meters away, and a bakery open around the clock, roughly a five-minute walk. The hotel sits a bit above the beach, about ten minutes on foot, so the walk back is uphill and adds plenty of steps 😁. The beach promenade has restaurants, souvenir shops, ice cream places and tourist attractions. The hosts were positive and accommodating, and we’re more than satisfied.

The host was very friendly, communication was smooth, and there’s parking in front of the building with a few bars nearby. The apartment is small, with a modern interior, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach and 25 to the old town and harbor. The walls are thin, so it wasn’t very quiet. Amenities were scarce, with only some soap, though kitchen cutlery was provided. The fridge was very noisy, as was the wall clock, and sometimes the cleaning lady too. I’d say it’s decent value for the price.

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Fani in August. The rooms were clean, staff were nice, and room service seemed to come every day. My one puzzling complaint is the complete lack of hangers. No jacket hooks in the entrance is understandable in August, but there wasn’t even a place for a bathroom towel, so we had to hang the hand towel on the shower cabin latch. I’m saying this with some humor, it’s not the end of the world, but a few hangers would be nice and would take only a few minutes and 3 euros to install. That’s probably my only negative feedback. Thanks for a lovely stay.
