Apartments Unija Duga Uvala

We come back every year to enjoy our stay. Pets are welcome, and there’s a quiet beach where you can spend time with your pet without crowds. The apartments are in the back of the photo.

The manager was really kind when I showed up two days before my booking. He found me a nice place, a very nice room on two levels, and when we had to leave early, he only charged us for the nights we stayed. I was here with my family for 9 days, from June 22, 2024, to July 1, 2024. Getting to the sea took a little getting used to. It’s a few minutes on foot, downhill on the way there and uphill coming back. You can drive to the beach, but we chose to walk. This place won’t suit everyone, though there are lots of beautiful beaches to visit if you like exploring, and Pula is 30 minutes away.

The setting is the main draw. There’s a lovely bay with a small beach, though most people seem to head for the rocks. It’s a great spot for snorkeling, and I saw all sorts of fish, giant crabs, cuttlefish and an octopus. Pula Rovin and Rabac are also easy to reach from Duga Uvala. The rooms themselves are nothing special. The tiles and kitchen furniture feel old, like communist times, and the beds weren’t comfortable. The kitchen may have plenty of equipment, but it’s showing its age. Still, the price, location and air conditioning in the room are big pluses. You’d be hard pressed to find a better location.
