Katarina Apartments and Rooms

I was disappointed with my stay at Apartmani Katarina. The prices felt too high for what was offered, especially given the small portions and poor quality of the food. The dishes were bland and fell short of what I expected from a restaurant. Dinner portions were minimal and didn’t satisfy my appetite, which made the price feel even less reasonable. I expect good value for my money, but the cost and what was served didn’t match. More reasonable prices for the quality and portions would have made the stay much more enjoyable.

The restaurant served fantastic seafood and traditional meat dishes, and the pebble beach was uncrowded and only a three-minute walk away. The apartment was clean, pleasant, and roomy enough, with a superb sea view from the balcony. The little fridge in the room was handy, and it was very good value for money. There were a few drawbacks. Our pillow was too big and hard, and there wasn’t a smaller one. The balcony was shared by three rooms, divided only by a grid. Sea-facing rooms also look onto the main road, which was noisy both day and night. Rooms on the first floor sit above the kitchen ventilation, so in the evening we could smell whatever was being cooked.

One evening, while I was paying for food and my parents weren’t around, Darko (the owner?) threw ice between my breasts and laughed. I felt so scared, and I didn’t eat at the restaurant again. It was pretty disgusting. I don’t understand how a grown man could do that, especially when he has a wife and child. I hope his wife reads this and finds out how rude he is to young ladies. 🤢 This wasn’t the first time he wanted to do something like this. 😐

The fries in the photo are a full portion, untouched. The portions were very small, and when I complained, the manager rudely told me to leave and never come back. Quite remarkable and unpleasant. Avoid.
