Pansion Oliva

We only planned to stay one night, but ended up having a really relaxing time at Pansion Olivia. It’s peaceful and away from the tourist areas, and the owners are lovely. Everything feels bright and welcoming, more like a small hotel than a pension. The room had parquet flooring, a double bed, wardrobe, desk and fridge, plus a small balcony with two chairs, a table and a frame for drying wet swimsuits. It was very clean, and when we came back from breakfast, the room had already been cleaned. We also got fresh towels daily. Breakfast was perfectly sufficient for us, and the pool was another lovely part of the stay. If you’re driving and want somewhere quiet in the middle of nowhere, you’ll love it. Just know there’s not much in the village beyond a well-stocked little market, so you’ll need the car for restaurants and the bays. Thanks to the owners for those wonderful days.

The rooms are really comfortable and cleaned each morning, and the place is kept extremely hygienic. It’s always peaceful, the owners are kind and welcoming, and breakfast was good. The pool is open around the clock. For the price, it’s a must!

It’s out in the middle of nowhere, but having a car makes it easy to explore Istria. The pension is great, and the room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was nearly the same each morning, and the swimming pool was pretty cold.

The outdoor pool is a nice way to cool off, and breakfast has plenty to choose from. Rooms are roomy and very tidy, each with its own balcony.
