The cigarette smell was really bothersome, first at reception and then constantly in the apartment. Even our pillows smelled of smoke. The bed squeaked and was very uncomfortable, and for the price I expected much more. The staff were disappointing, with no social interaction at all. The booking app showed tourist tax of €8.60, but we were charged €25.20.

The pool just outside our apartment was a highlight, especially for my son, and the bathroom and air conditioning were up to standard. We stayed seven nights for about 860 euros through booking.com, in an apartment on the third floor of the Blue Hilde apartment building. It’s centrally located, with most attractions within walking distance. Picking up the key was a little hiccup, and the Wi-Fi had some quirks, but it was comfortable overall. Parking is free, though spaces may already be taken, so it isn’t guaranteed.

We had a lovely stay and would happily come back. The staff were polite and helpful, and the food was freshly prepared. Our room was clean and roomy, with a very comfortable bed and a wonderful balcony view. The pool was great too, with warm water.

Lidia made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. She was incredibly supportive with all the issues I had, and even helped when I asked to leave a day early despite having no money. Lidia, you’re a wonderful person, and I promise I’ll come back in the future! The hotel is beautiful, and breakfast was lovely too.

We had a wonderful holiday in this peaceful spot. The blue exterior is lovely, the service was good, and there’s guest parking. Our room was clean and had air conditioning, and the price was good.
