Definitely try the fresh oysters. We also had the grilled fresh fish, which was very good. The owner told us about Ston's history and its salt production.

A great spot for seafood, with friendly staff and a lovely view. The fresh oysters cost much less than at the bar right next door.

We stopped at Vila Koruna Restaurant for lunch after picking up 50 kg of unrefined salt from the local salt lake and producer in Mali Ston. It turned into one of the food highlights of our trip. The mussels were top quality and cooked just right. We tried mussels à la buzara, mussel risotto, and spaghetti with mussels, all fresh, flavorful, and made in an authentic Dalmatian Mediterranean style. The sauces were rich and aromatic, and every dish was satisfying. Local white wine, good olive oil, and fleur de sel from their own salt lake made the meal feel especially connected to the area. The setting was beautiful, the service friendly, and the local ingredients were prepared with real skill. Highly recommended if you're visiting Mali Ston.

We were disappointed and wouldn't return or recommend it. The food was okay, though not perfect, and we had a nice oyster before dinner. But when we got home and were splitting the bill with friends, we noticed we'd been charged 15 euro for a small 20cl bottle. One of us ordered a non-alcoholic beer and was given a regular one instead. When they went to change it, it spilled onto my knees. Accidents do happen, but the whole experience put us off.
