Apartments Sveti Ivan

The apartment was very close to the beach, but our basement unit had just one small window, heavy humidity, and a cold floor. We had to run a dehumidifier, which was noisy. The bathroom had only a curtain, no door. Booking.com showed a 9.7 score and presented it as four stars, but our reality was very different: this apartment is three stars. Our two-year-old got sick there, and then we got sick too. We had booked 14 nights. After six nights, we asked the host, Ivan, if we could cancel the rest and agree on a refund. He said to sort it out with Booking.com, but they told us Ivan had the final say. He refused and kept all the money. He seems blinded by money. We left after seven nights. Losing the money for the remaining seven nights was still the best decision we made. This was the worst experience we've ever had. Be aware of this accommodation and host, the reality is a long way from the score.

You can practically fall straight from bed into the sea, and evenings are very quiet, with only guests out walking or heading to the Rubin spa. The little apartment is cozy, functionally furnished, and pleasantly cool in the basement. You're really only there to sleep anyway. Simply fantastic. The hosts are lovely, and we'll be back next year.

It's wonderful falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the sea. Apartments Sveti Ivan sits right by the beach in Moščenićka Draga, at the end of the promenade through town. Everything you need is nearby, about a 10-minute walk away. The place is spotless, and the hosts are kind. Highly recommended, and we'd definitely like to visit again.
