The hosts were extremely welcoming and nice, and even left essentials like oil, olive oil, and coffee for us. They also made lemonade. The kitchen had everything we could need, and there was air conditioning on every floor. The apartment is amazing, with a glorious view. Like many local Motovun houses, it's narrow and long, with three stories, which gives it a distinctive feel you can only get in Motovun. The furniture was nice, and we had a great experience.

We stayed in the middle house, the "Danish House", and felt comfortable from the start. We even decided on the spot to extend our stay, and would love to come back. These are two lovely holiday homes within a large property made up of three units. From the valley side, you can look south across the vineyards toward the Parenzana trail and down into the fertile garden on the steep slope. Upstairs, you can reach Motovun's upper town directly, without a car, via its steep, narrow streets.

The house is clean and lovely, an original old place with comfortable modern furniture on old wooden floors. The rooms are laid out really well, with a fragrant garden and little terraces. There are views from every window, and everything you need. A special experience!
