Villa Borgo B&B

Having breakfast on the patio and looking out across the valley was a lovely way to start the day. The eggs with truffles were made for us that morning and tasted great. Villa Borgo is a beautiful little hotel, and the staff have a relaxed, friendly manner. We were there with Fiore bike tours, fiore-tours, and I'd happily come back and spend longer taking it all in.

Motovun was busy that weekend and we couldn't find transport onward, so Slaven arranged for his Dad to drive us to our next stop. He was lovely and even offered us some of the cheese he makes. Earlier, Slaven had helped arrange our tour with Miro Tartufi and picked us up when it finished. The terrace at Villa Borgo has one of Motovun's best views, and the staff were amazing. Such a gem of a hilltop B&B, I'd definitely recommend it.

Maura, Noah & the staff were friendly and helpful from booking through checkout. We really appreciated them driving us and all our bags to and from the city gates. Our room was small, but had what we needed, a lovely view, and air conditioning that kept it cool in the heat. We stayed briefly at Villa Borgo B&B while traveling from Croatia to Slovenia. It's in the old town, looking out over the valley, and we enjoyed a drink on the balcony. Breakfast was included and good. A personal little hotel, and a good choice for visiting Motovun.

Slaven and the team make us feel so welcome, and that's why nowhere feels quite like an overnight stay at Villa Borgo. We return every year while riding the Parenzana bike trail. The breakfast is a favorite, especially the eggs with truffles, and there's a great place to park our bicycles. We also love the room, the wifi quality, and the view over Mirna valley. The surrounding area feels magical, with the truffle scent and wine tasting nearby. We've stayed in B&Bs all over the world, and this one means a lot to us.
