The sea view is unforgettable, and the apartment is in a quiet street with practically everything within walking distance. Murter-Kornati’s lively center, with restaurants, ice cream shops, walking streets, piers, and evening events on the main square, is about a 10-15 minute walk. The island’s only sandy beach, and in my view its most beautiful and best one, is around 200-300 meters away, with everything you need to relax. The apartment house has a real Mediterranean feel. It’s attractive, cultured, and well equipped, just as described on the online booking sites. The owner is very kind and helpful.

The balcony has a fantastic view, and the beach, town, shops, and restaurants are all nearby. The building sits quite high up, though, which could be difficult for children or older people. There’s parking around the building, and the nearby beach is great, but the tree filled garden looks rather neglected. The place was clean, and the owner was friendly. Some wardrobes and the living room mattresses had a damp smell, possibly left over from being unused over winter. The small kitchen should be fine for guests with simple needs, and the wind can be quite noticeable on windy days. The cats are a good idea for allergy sufferers. Overall, I recommend it.
