The gnocchi with mushrooms and the eggs with truffles were the standouts. The cold cuts were a safe choice, while the asparagus pasta and grilled meat were just okay. The place had a nice atmosphere and the staff were pleasant, but I found it expensive for what you get.
8/10
The food is good, and this is a rustic Istrian konoba surrounded by nature and animals, with homemade dishes. The atmosphere could feel a bit warmer, though. We had lunch there on a crowded Sunday, so booking ahead makes sense. On our November 30, 2024 visit, the service was really poor. The waitress who's worked there for years was very impolite and unkind, and all of us who came with a friend were unhappy with the service. Such a pity.
10/10
The homemade prosciutto was the highlight, melting in my mouth and full of Istrian flavor. Everything seemed to be made with care from good local ingredients. The service was quick, professional, and very friendly. This local tavern gave us a real taste of Istrian cooking and hospitality.

A special place with lovely people and very good quality, pure food. We’ll come back.

You can see some of the farm animals here, and they sell their own products, including sausages and drinks. The food was great and the staff were nice.
