One detail to know before booking on Booking.com: the Ventus manager hadn’t mentioned a €150 cash deposit payable at their office, or that rooms are cleaned weekly and towels changed every three days. We stayed at Jugo in August. The B&B was clean and well kept, and the owners and staff were notably kind and friendly. It’s a seven-minute walk to the center of Novalja and five minutes from the supermarket. Highly recommended!

The room gets cleaned daily, and while breakfast isn’t included, the owners are really friendly. They speak Italian, give useful advice, and respond quickly if you need anything. The view isn’t great, though. The main hassle is check-in: you have to go to an agency about 1.5 km away, and nobody there speaks Italian. Checking out was much easier. I recommend the place.
