Marevista Apartments Dubravka

The apartment had everything we needed and was spacious and clean. The hosts were warm, always available, and ready to help. The beach is only about 250 meters away, a few minutes on foot, and has a blue flag, facilities for all ages, and very friendly bar staff at affordable prices. Toni restaurant on the beach is excellent. There's a great sea view, a large yard, and lots of parking, including shaded spots. The location in Stara Novalja is excellent. Highly recommended.

We got back today, and I personally wouldn't stay here again. We even thought about leaving early, but we'd paid a month in advance, so we stayed. The sea view we booked wasn't there. The bathroom folding door wouldn't shut properly, the TV didn't work, and after we called, the owners said it was hard to find a repair person and asked if we had wifi. The wifi signal was very poor. There was so much dust around the bed that it made you cough as soon as you lay down, and there was even more behind the TV. The beds creaked so badly you couldn't turn over without making noise, and you could hear them from the apartment above at night. There weren't even basic things like toothpicks, salt, or pepper. We got two rolls of toilet paper and had to make do. They welcomed us when we arrived, but after that they disappeared, without even messaging to ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything.

The only part we liked was the large terrace, though the sun beats down on it, so you can only sit there in the morning or evening. It really needs some kind of shade. The apartment fits four, but there was only one wardrobe. The furniture looked cobbled together from old children's rooms, and the mattresses were awful, with springs sticking out all over. We had to ask for towels, and there was no toilet paper. The shower leaked so badly that we had to collect water in the bathroom. The kitchen socket didn't work, the bedsheet had a hole, and the bedroom door wouldn't open all the way. Overall, we weren't satisfied.

The shower drain was blocked, and the fridge was broken and wouldn't cool. The bathroom had a sliding door that wouldn't close properly, instead of a normal door. There was barely any soap or toilet paper, and no towels or cloths. The beds were one double and two singles, with a corner for a double. The place wasn't as close to the sea as advertised, and it wasn't worth the price. I definitely wouldn't come back.
