Moon Rocks Hostel

The location was great, and for the price the stay was good, but I had a bad experience. At 6am, a drunk guy was banging on our door because his key didn't work. My friend's key failed too, and the receptionist said we had to wiggle the keys. My friend wanted to extend her stay and was told to come to reception at 9am to change rooms, but in the morning she ended up staying in the same room. When I asked to check out later than 9am, I was told that wasn't possible. The pool bar opens at 10am and had no coffee. The restaurant also opens at 10am, even though checkout is at 9.

The hostel's in a great spot, just a short walk from the town center, and the bus to beach Zrće stops right outside. The beds and bathroom were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the food was satisfactory. There's a pool where you can hang out and party if you don't feel like going to Zrće. The staff are always available, and there's a great party atmosphere all around. I'm definitely coming back!

This is a place for people coming to party, definitely not couples looking for peace or families. Zrce is about a 20-30 minute walk away, and there's a good swimming pool out front, though it could've been cleaner. My room had air conditioning and a balcony with a table and chairs, and the mattress made for comfortable sleep. Things were a little messy at times, but nothing too bad in my experience.

We know we could've behaved better, and this was the first time security had spoken to us. We were playing music at 8pm, though, not after 10pm, so we didn't think we'd broken that rule. We understand there are rules, but the security staff seemed to act on their own judgment and for their own reasons. I hope there won't be any more interruptions.
