The apartment's actual condition and its distance from the road didn't quite match the description and photos, so the information was incorrect. Communication and confirmation of the reservation were unsatisfactory from the start. Had I known, I would never have booked it. I don't recommend this place. From now on, I'll look much more carefully into consumer rights before searching for accommodation.

We received a very friendly welcome, and parking was available. The apartment is lovely, with a wonderful sea view. There's a beautiful seawater swimming pool and a well-kept garden with sun loungers and parasols. Towels for the loungers are provided free of charge.

After travelling over 1,000 km, we felt cheated by the owner right at the start of our holiday. We’ve been coming to Croatia for five years, and this was the first time we’d run into this kind of rudeness and what felt like an attempt to get more money from us. I want to warn anyone planning a dream holiday: I strongly advise against booking with these people. The price was confirmed by email after the owner took a two-night deposit, but when we arrived, she changed the nightly rate. She also added €5 for air conditioning, a mini safe that was locked but could take a second key, and towels, which she mentioned before we left. The house wasn’t where the website said it was, either. It’s on the main road into town. There’s a pool and sun loungers beside the house, though we got the impression swimming wasn’t really allowed there. That was just our impression. The place was completely different from what had been described as an apartment.

We left without a holiday or local support after trying unsuccessfully to find somewhere else on the street. The next day, August 8, 2021, we got a call asking whether we wanted to move into the apartment. We said we’d be home in an hour. The lawyer will be in touch. We’d travelled with another family, with a baby, and our own family of five included a toddler. We arrived late on August 7, 2021, the day Adrialin filed for insolvency around noon. Our booking through Adrialin had been made in January and paid in full in June. We had a valid travel voucher, which Adrialin said was only issued once the apartment was fully paid for. Still, we were told to pay again in cash, including a deposit equal to the final payment, for a total of over €2,000. Adrialin’s email said reservations were paid through August 8, and we assumed ours was covered. It wasn’t. Veta Trade has been Adrialin’s partner for about 15 years. I’m not trying to discredit them, just describe how a long-standing partner was treated. They suggested contacting Adrialin, but it was practically unreachable at the weekend and rarely answered emails. We were told the only help available was a small cash deposit, enough for one or two nights in the booked accommodation while we searched for somewhere else. During peak season, when places are booked up, that did help. It was very late, and a free night in the vacant apartment would have helped. Neither Veta Trade nor we were responsible for what had happened, and we were exhausted. Asking why we hadn’t called at noon, and saying these things aren’t discussed by phone, was pointless. We could have turned around halfway there. We went to the address Adrialin gave us without Veta Trade’s help. The house number was there, but the owner didn’t rent the property and the house didn’t look like the pictures. Neighbors couldn’t tell us anything, but offered to put us up for free. That’s what we call support. Given the whole situation, I’d call these “striking irregularities.”

I gave up on the accommodation and went to look elsewhere after the staff got confrontational when I wanted to see the place first. That’s a completely normal thing for me to ask. They were rude and unprofessional, so I don’t recommend it.
