Villa White

Vila White became our favorite in Trogir, and we came back more than once. The food is fresh and clearly made with care, and the prices were the best we found in town. The staff and owner are so welcoming, too. There’s a lovely, quiet terrace outside. If you’re looking for a break from the crowds and high prices in Trogir town, the short walk here is well worth it. We loved this place ❤️

We spent two nights in Trogir before setting off. The hotel was quiet, close to the historic old center, and very good value for money. Our room was lovely and spotless. Breakfast was really good, with a nice range of Dalmatian specialties.

We had dinner here and both the food and service were great. Our room was on the small side, but clean and had everything we needed for the night. The town center is about a 10-minute walk away. We’d happily stay again.

Minira and her daughter waited for me even though my delayed flight put me an hour past the 10 pm check-in cutoff. Minira called to check that I was okay, and they made my arrival easy. I felt welcome right away. Thanks to Minira, Teressa, Azra, and the rest of the staff for such a kind stay. By the time I was leaving, I felt more like a friend than a stranger, and was sad to say goodbye. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10:30 am. I loved the fluffy, soft omelette with bacon, vegetables, and gouda, which was quite different from what I’m used to at home. The coffee was fresh and fragrant, too. I also tried the Nutella and fruit jam breakfast. It was a bit too sweet for me, but kids or anyone with a sweet tooth would probably love it. The rooms are a good size and cleaned daily between 9 and 11 am, so expect a knock around 10. I appreciated getting a fresh towel and an empty bin each day. There’s also a restaurant and bar downstairs, with last orders around 9:30 pm, and I’d suggest trying it at least once. I stayed nine nights, longer than I’d expected. I think two to four days in Trogir would be enough, but I have no regrets about the visit. This was my first time in Croatia 🇭🇷, and it won’t be my last. I’d come back to the hotel just to say hello.
