Avoid this place. The owner was dishonest, and the apartment was below basic standards. I stayed at Principim Apartment for two nights with my three small children, after agreeing in advance to a three-night stay and paying upfront. I wasn’t given a receipt, and none was offered. After two days, the owner suddenly claimed we had agreed on two nights and that I’d paid for only two. He told us to leave right away because new guests had arrived and the apartment needed cleaning. When I asked about a receipt, he said there wouldn’t be one because he’d given me a very low price as a special offer. The apartment was very poorly equipped, with no salt, white sugar, clothesline, or plastic containers. The furniture is old and should have been replaced long ago. Household items were also in bad shape: the cutlery breaks when cutting meat, the knives are dull, there’s no bread-cutting board, and there’s no hand soap. It’s sparse and very basic for the amount of money they charge.

The service and price matched well, and there were some real benefits: the beach and village center are nearby. The apartment itself is new or renovated, with a pleasant interior, comfortable beds, enough room to spend time in, and real wood parquet flooring. There’s also a small playground for little kids. Almost everything matched the advertisement, but the view didn’t. Not every room can face the sea, of course, but the listing should make that clear. The TV was also larger in the advertisement. These weren’t serious issues, and we expected them, but I think they’re worth mentioning. The walls are thin, and some essentials are missing, though they weren’t advertised. Be prepared for no microwave or dishwasher. A microwave could easily be provided, and washing dishes isn’t pleasant because there’s no light above the sink. The fixed shutter slats don’t let you make the apartment completely dark. Hot water is limited because it comes from an electric boiler, though the kitchen has a separate hot-water source.

The room was clean and everything worked, though there were some exposed wires and the shower was tiny. The host was very friendly and answered room-related questions well, but didn’t offer much help with suggestions for the area. You can walk to the harbor from the apartment, but be ready for quite a climb. It’s not suitable for a wheelchair, or for walking back drunk.

A great place, with nice, clean accommodation not far from the sea. Wi-Fi isn’t available in every apartment. Mr.Jurica was willing to sort out any problem, and even cooked us fish on the barbecue.

A great spot to unwind and take it easy. The hospitality was lovely, and this is the best apartment I've stayed in. I'd come back as soon as I can.
