The staff were extremely nice, and they gave us a discount. Breakfast was okay, with plenty to choose from. We stopped for one night during a long trip, but the room was extremely hot during the hottest week of the year. The hotel said the lack of air conditioning was only an issue that day, though I’m not sure. Opening the windows didn’t help because they face a busy road. The interior is very old-school.

We came for dinner. The waitress was really polite, and from what we could see, everything looked clean.

Ten of us came for lunch on Sunday 21/2/2024, and it was a disaster. The menu didn’t offer much, though we were okay with that. I ordered the deer goulash in cherry sauce with homemade gnocchi. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, we waited nearly an hour. After we asked the waitress where the food was, it arrived the next minute, but every dish was cold and inedible. The venison had no taste, and I can’t even describe the sauce. The childred’s breaded chicken and croquettes were cold too. The meat plate was a cold, inedible “thing” that barely looked like meat. Maybe the hotel should find a cook, because it seemed they didn’t have one.
