It was a really enjoyable stay. The market, the beach, and more are all close by.

The beach is just a short way away, which makes this a great spot.

The location is fantastic: there's a shop downstairs and the beach is just across the road, a prime stretch of beach. Inside, it feels like little has changed since the apartments were built in 1982. My room had a stove, fridge, private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, and Wi-Fi. I highly recommend the place.

The one thing going for this place is how close it is to the beach, with shops all around. Beyond that, it was a disaster, and I would give it zero stars if I could. The owners need to put money into renovating it. The photos are nothing like what we found. Our rooms were tiny and bare, with no hangers, bedside lamps, or tables. The windows were old, leaky, broken, and wouldn't close properly, so street noise came straight in and it felt as if they were open. The curtains were dated, dirty, and smelly. The walls were dirty and moldy, with dead, squashed insects on them. The beds were awful too, with worn, creased mattresses, and a huge dip in the double bed that felt like you could fall through it. Paying for a sea view is pointless. The balcony is off to the side, and the supposed view is from the bedroom, where there's barely room to stand at the window and have coffee. The old fridge's freezer didn't freeze, and the air conditioner was in terrible shape. It hadn't been seen by a technician in a long time, and I don't want to know how much dust and grime was in it, though at least it worked. The housekeeper seemed not to care. She left the keys in the door and didn't come to greet us. We weren't given a sheet for one of the beds, and nobody showed up when we needed help. I don't know if the housekeeper was the woman living next to my tent, but if it was her, she was awful. The place allows pets, but when we took our little dog to pee in the parking lot, she started barking at us.
