Villa Mirjana

I can't recommend this place. On our first day, we noticed the apartment's front door lock had a small problem and told the owner. She immediately wanted to charge us for a repair and assumed we'd broken it. We couldn't believe it, and things got worse from there. On day two, I was walking down the stairs with my tea when she told me we had to pay for the stay. I went back to the room and we started gathering the money. A minute later, she came right into our apartment to collect it. While she was there, she changed the air-conditioning temperature and said the unit was “good” and would cool the apartment in five minutes. I've never met anyone like her. At departure, she even counted all the items, including the forks and spoons. Greedy and disrespectful owner. That's my honest opinion and advice: don't book here.

The owners were very nice, and the private terrace was gorgeous, with views of the city and pool. After a long day, it was lovely to cool off with a swim. The apartment was beautiful and clean, with tasteful modern furnishings and a kitchen equipped with everything you could need. We were on a road trip and only stayed one night, which was the one real disappointment. We would have loved a few days here, so maybe we'll visit again someday.

The rooms don't have basic amenities, so you have to buy everything yourself. The owner also tries to get extra money and brings in new rules while you're staying. She goes into the rooms without asking when you're out, which is reprehensible! The listing says there's a sea view, but construction right in front of the building blocks the whole view. The rooms aren't worth the price. I don't recommend it, and suggest looking elsewhere.
