Apartments Ankica

The apartment had two small terraces, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a separate room with a dining area and kitchenette. That had a fridge, freezer, induction hob, microwave, and electric kettle. There was air conditioning, and most of the necessary appliances. The owner and neighbors were very friendly. Still, unpacking for a longer stay was hard because there wasn’t even a small wardrobe or cabinets. There’s private parking in front of the house, but it gets a lot of sun. The house is very high up. The driveway is narrow but asphalted, and the location can be a challenge, especially for families with small children. Walking down to the beach and back would be difficult, maybe impossible. Carrying a small child up the steep hill in the heat would be a nightmare. To reach the beach on foot, you also have to cross a thoroughfare and climb another long, steep set of stairs. In general, there’s nowhere to walk and no sidewalk, except up the hill. The beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water and large rocks. There’s a shower to rinse off the salt, but no sanitary facilities. There isn’t a shop or restaurant nearby, so you’d need to drive up, even though it’s the same town. There are no children’s attractions if that’s what you’re looking for. Anyone planning a trip here probably expects these inconveniences as part of the geographical advantages. I recommend it for families without small children, or for people without small children.

Peace and quiet were exactly what we wanted, and the apartments were clean and well maintained. The owners, Nevenka and Mirko, were incredibly kind, helpful, and easy to deal with. Best regards to them. You can barbecue as much as you like. We had a very pleasant stay, and I highly recommend them.

They greeted us with coffee and a smile, and the staff were super nice. I recommend the large parking lot.
