The View Apartment Old Town by Irundo

The stairs up to the apartment are fairly steep and take a bit of getting used to, but the harbor view makes up for it. The place is modern, beautifully furnished, and has a great view. It's right in the old town, so everything is easy to reach on foot. Parking, unfortunately, is only outside the old town.

It's small but full of charm. Falling asleep to the sound of the sea was lovely, and sunrise views were spectacular. Good value for money, and the service was friendly.

The room was dirty as soon as we arrived. We were the only ones there, entering with a door code, and immediately photographed the shower, sink, and kitchen sink. The cleaning had been extremely careless. They offered to send someone to clean, but the room should have been in good shape from the start. I didn't want anyone entering while we were away. Who knows, perhaps the same people who failed to clean it properly would have been sent back. The location was another serious problem. The Booking.com map point showed a quieter side street, but the room was actually right on a tourist route, with three restaurants directly outside the window. Noise started around 6 a.m. and went on late into the night. Opening the window was out of the question, and sleeping was impossible anyway. I contacted the agency straight away and got vague platitudes and claims that could be shown to be false. Management's promised reply came two days after I got home instead of the next day, and it still wasn't helpful. The landlord gave definite but wrong information, then blamed me. That's terrible. They made no real effort to help, and customer service was nonexistent when I complained. Absolutely avoid. This is about Apartments Old Town RA 1-2.
