The pool hours are 10-19, so we missed out on using it when we arrived in the early evening, and again on our last day because check-out is at 10 AM. We asked about bike rental after seeing it mentioned in some reviews, but it wasn’t available when we asked. The price felt a bit high, though maybe that was because we were there in high season.

We made good use of the clean pool, which was just right for cooling down in the sun. Villa Allegria is in a quiet neighbourhood near a beautiful park with little hidden beaches and coves, and we could walk into the town centre. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the host was helpful and personable. We had an amazing stay and would be back in a heartbeat.

We brought our own bikes and rode to the beach and centre in about five minutes, roughly 1.5-2 km. The owners also have bikes you can rent or use. Our room was clean and pleasant, with its own bathroom and a lovely balcony. There’s a coffee machine and dishes on the second floor, handy for having breakfast or dinner by the pool. The villa has flowers all around, kiwi growing, and a nice pool. The owners clearly care about their home and do their best for guests. They were very hospitable, and their funny dog added to the welcome. We felt comfortable, thought it was really good value, and would like to return next year.

Our room had a fridge, hairdryer, and plenty of towels. The hosts were so helpful, offering us coffee at check-in, and there was water and juice in the fridge. It’s a perfect spot in a quiet residential area with lots of parking, about five minutes by car from the centre of Rovinj. Recommended.

The apartment and hosts were fantastic. It’s well placed for reaching the main town, local shops, and Cuvi beach easily. I’d come back tomorrow!
