The room was small, but that was okay for me. You can always hear the hvac system humming. I wasn’t thrilled with the location: there’s no beach here, just concrete quays and steps down into the water. I was surprised to see beachbeds on the concrete. Apparently there’s a gravel beach about a 30-minute walk away.

We went for dinner, not to stay, and honestly the service was terrible. We ordered several things, starting with soup, but even that hadn’t arrived as a starter after about 20 minutes. They were very slow, so in the end we cancelled the soup because there was no point waiting. The main course eventually came, but everyone there seemed to be waiting a long time too. When you bring it up, they’re kind of rude and tell you to “be patient.” I mean, I don’t think anyone should have to wait 30 minutes for spaghetti.

The bed was comfortable, and the room had AC, which is a plus in warm weather. It was okay overall, just a little dated, but that wasn’t a problem. Nice little hotel, and breakfast had a good range of choices.

The reception staff on duty was incredibly helpful with sorting out our ferry crossings to korcula and really went the extra mile. We had a lovely room and good service, and it was handy for both the beach and restaurants. What a wonderful stay. I’d certainly use the hotel again.
