We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend the hotel. The setting is scenic and convenient, and the place was clean and well kept. Staff were kind and helpful, while breakfast and dinner were pretty standard, though there was always something tasty to pick. The pool and private beach were lovely, and the poolside menu worked well for a quick bite. Parking was quite expensive, and local kids sometimes came in to use the facilities. That wasn't much of a concern when it was quiet, but could be during peak periods, especially for a hotel that isn't cheap.

The sea-facing rooms are beautiful, with plenty of space, a modern feel, and comfortable beds. The location is lovely, and the staff were friendly, especially at reception. It feels like good value and would suit families with children. The main thing to sort out is the sunbeds. There need to be more of them or some kind of policy, because right now the situation is a mess.

The bay views from the room and restaurant were a highlight, and the walk along the promenade toward Opatija was lovely. We stayed seven nights with our child, from late June into early July, and were pleased with most of the experience. The hotel may seem plain from outside, but it feels different once you enter. The hillside location runs down to the sea. Our room had a balcony with chairs, a table and drying rack, plus a small fridge. It was roomy for two adults and a child. The bathroom was spacious, and the air conditioning was quiet and easy to control. The pool looks out over the bay and is better for relaxing than swimming. Its water was 29°C, though the rough stone-like floor and walls can scrape you if you're careless. At pool level there's a snack bar, where the staff were helpful and the food and drinks were good. Stairs go from there down to a large concrete seaside platform with loungers, umbrellas and another bar. You enter the water by ladder, and it gets deep right away. There's also an inflatable play area on the water for children and adults. It's free for hotel guests, with wristbands available at reception. Food was the weak spot. Breakfast and dinner started out well, with different choices including fish and meat, but after July 1, when high season began, quality seemed to drop and meals got more repetitive. We could always find a table. Pool loungers were harder to get after 10 a.m., while there was usually more space by the sea. The front desk welcomed us warmly, and everyone we met was helpful and spoke English easily. The gym is basic but fine for a workout. There were children's activities and entertainment too, though we didn't join in. We had a very successful stay overall, even if the restaurant could improve. Families will find plenty for children here, including their own pool, a playground and activities. Pets are allowed, too. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious, with big balconies and lovely sea views, and the staff made check-in and other requests easy with their friendly, helpful service. The setting is right by the sea, close to the Lungomare promenade, and Opatija is only a few minutes away by car. Breakfast was generous and satisfying. Parking costs extra, around €17 a day, and the pool gets crowded in high season, so it's best to get a lounger early. A good-value option for a family or couple wanting a seaside stay with modern comforts and great views.
