Rooms Vila Irma

There are several apartments sharing a big terrace with a jacuzzi and shower. House rules help keep things peaceful, so noisy neighbors aren't something to worry about. The photos match the listing, and the lovely little apartments have a wonderful view. They're close to a beach and just minutes from a large store. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and a lovely feline receptionist greeted us when we arrived. It's a modest, calm place to unwind after the beach or sightseeing.

We had plenty of room to put our things away, even though some cupboards were locked and others held lots of the owners' belongings. The place is simple, spacious and overlooks the sea. Our room had a large bed, a side bed and a baby bed, and the living room had a sofa that converted into a bed. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed. The owners kindly let the tub run even at the end of October. The beach is only a 10-minute walk. Watch out for the shower's hot water pipe, though. It was so hot I burned my hand. A nice, comfortable and very affordable place in Opatija.

The terrace jacuzzi was lovely for relaxing in the evening, with the bubbles and water massage. SPAR supermarket is just 5 mins away, and the beach is about 10 mins on foot. Downtown is easy to reach from Vila Irma, and having private parking at the property was a big plus. We stayed for 6 days and had a wonderful time. Everything was amazing: the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the view was spectacular. The staff were friendly, very nice and spoke very good English. Thank you all! Adrian

The view was nice and the lady working there was really pleasant, but that didn't make up for the rest. It was very dirty, the bathroom was tiny, and lots of things were broken, including the ice tray and CD player. My bed was like a brick and I kept waking up, so I couldn't sleep comfortably. I definitely don't recommend it.
