The hostess and her crew know how to serve very good food. I'd recommend the tasting menu with its wine pairing, and Sergio clearly knows his wines and really enjoys his work. The price and quality are a very good match. This place is so good.

The restaurant is nice and the food was good, but the price felt excessive. We ordered the daily catch, listed on the menu at €30, and were charged €120. When I asked the waiter about the difference, he got annoyed and didn't want to discuss it, saying that was the price of the fish. We left feeling ripped off.

My Lady and I had a wonderful dinner here during our annual visit to her family home in Volosko. She'd noticed this beautiful place on her run along the Lungomare, and her cousin had recommended it a few years ago. Parking is extremely limited, but we got a spot right out front, so we were lucky. The charm and decadence were clear as soon as we walked in; the stairs down to the restaurant lead into an equally elegant and beautiful dining room. Our server, Igor, was genuine and gregarious, with a smile to match. He showed us the fish selection and described his favorite, John Dory. I trusted his recommendation. While our food was being prepared, we strolled out to the lovely terrace, where tables for families and couples all looked out over the Adriatic Sea. When we returned, complimentary small plates were on the table, and another server welcomed us and guided us through a fresh, creamy dish with bread. The appetizers were perfectly prepared. She had fish carpaccio three ways, and I ordered veal and mushroom ravioli with shaved truffles. Both were brilliant. The John Dory was grilled perfectly and served with roasted peppers, zucchini and potatoes. Two servers presented it whole, then carved, trimmed and plated it. They brought me the head and said the cheeks were the best part. They were right: the taste, texture and succulence in every bite were unlike any fish we'd had before. We ate everything from the head except the eyeballs, which felt a little wasteful, but I know my limits! Igor brought us schnapps and offered dessert. She chose pistachio crème brûlée. It was by far our finest dining experience of the year, and we WILL be back. To Igor and the servers who helped him, HVALA!! From the bottoms of our hearts, tastebuds and stomachs, HVALA!!!

Cyntia’s flexibility made all the difference when we had to move our wedding date at short notice. What might have been stressful turned into a joyful, unforgettable celebration. At Villa Ariston, Cyntia, Zorica, Iva, Serđan, and the whole team made our families and us feel so cared for from the moment we arrived. The chefs deserve every bit of praise for the exquisite food, and the behind-the-scenes staff were just as professional, kind, and dedicated. Dario, our guests, and I came away with a lifetime of memories. We’ll always be grateful for the most magical wedding weekend of our lives.
