The peaceful sea view was priceless, and the house stayed pleasantly cool even on hot days thanks to its thick walls. The mattresses were very good too, and we didn’t need the air conditioning. We also appreciated the mosquito nets, the washing machine in the bathroom, and the very good Jura coffee machine in the kitchen. Our apartment was clean, beautiful, well equipped, and lovely to come back to. Caroline ❤️, our friendly and helpful German-speaking hostess, greeted us with a cold drink 😊. We had our dog with us, which was no problem at all: the fenced house meant he could roam freely, and Caroline is very pet-friendly 🥰. There’s also a dog beach on the coastal promenade, which I highly recommend. You do need a car, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Shops like Plodine and Konsum are nearby, and there’s a daily market in Lovran. Lovran is about ten kilometers from Opatija. We couldn’t find anything negative and would love to return. Thank you, Caroline, for those wonderful 19 days ❤️🤗

The host greeted us with coffee and a refreshing drink. The property was in good condition and felt like good value for money, with Wi-Fi and plenty of TV channels. It’s on a quiet dead-end street with a stunning view, and there’s free parking inside a closed yard.
