At first everything seemed to be going well: the host showed us around the apartment, then we agreed to meet half an hour later for an early check-in. Although we'd settled on a specific rate, higher than the one on Booking because we had a dog, the owners didn't honor the agreement. We were due back at 11 and waited at the apartment until 11:30, trying the intercom and calling the phone number, which was inactive. We couldn't reach anyone. During that time, the listing for the apartment also disappeared from Booking. In my eyes, Croatia lost a lot that day because of these people. The area around the place smelled strongly of sewage.

The apartments are good and spacious, though there aren't many beaches close by.
