Aminess Bellevue Casa & Hotel & Village

Waking up to the sea from our room was a real treat. The hotel was clean, tidy, and well looked after, and the food was tasty with lots of choice. There are lovely beaches in both directions, many with natural shade at different hours. We had a great stay and would happily return.

The friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere made our stay really enjoyable. Everything seemed well organized, and we had a wonderful time. We’ll definitely come back.

The main building rooms were quiet and clean, and the setting was lovely, with clear sea water and Orebic nearby. But the rooms looked toward the car park, and there was nowhere outside to dry towels or swimsuits. We were told the towel radiators were switched off for summer. Food was our biggest letdown. We were half board, and dinner was poor: cold trays of overcooked meat and fish, some salads, a terrible "risotto," and the same sponge slabs for dessert each night, with ice cream as well. The most irritating part was being charged 5 euros a bottle for water, since tap water wasn't provided free with dinner. The pool was nice, but there was no lifeguard and the rules weren't enforced. One day we saw a small child pee right into the pool. Hotel trips were very expensive, and reception didn't know about the local companies offering great watersports. It was okay for a three-star place.

We had a lovely weekend at the vilage. Our room was beautiful and very clean, and the staff were wonderful and helpful. The food was excellent, compliments to the chef. There's a ferry close by, and Korcula is nearby and easy to visit. We'd love to come again.
