The fish pate was the best preparation of it I've had in Croatia, and the tuna steak was superb. My friend ordered the truffle pasta from korcula. We came in recently for a late business lunch, and the service was top notch.

We started with a really high quality cheese board, then had incredible tuna steak. The vegetables and salad on the side were superb too. Very, very impressed with the food.

The village was lovely and peaceful, and the shower was great. My room was beautiful and comfortable. I felt quite ill when I checked in, and the gentleman kindly brought me a bucket of ice and carried my bags.

The room was terribly small, and sound carried throughout it. In the evening it could get loud until midnight, and we could hear people walking and the waiters running around. We were on the first floor, which got pretty annoying. There was no do not disturb sign, either, and cleaning staff tried to come in twice while we were resting in bed. The room was clean and modern, with a comfortable bed, and we had a great breakfast. But there was no reception, and the waiters handled check-in. Communication was poor, with frequent misunderstandings. They only spoke Croatian well, not English or German, and other tourists seemed to have the same problem. The waiters looked like they were struggling to run the place. The toilet bin was so tiny it could barely hold any rubbish. There were no bathroom hangers for clothes or towels, and the flush didn't work properly. We were told laundry would be free, but were charged at checkout. When we explained what we'd been told, he didn't understand. More communication problems.
