A quiet, distinctive historical stay in a hotel with beautiful design and meticulous details throughout. The receptionist was wonderful to talk with. A couple of things to keep in mind: parking is a short walk away, and because the hotel is within an old city fortress, there aren't many nearby places to eat or sights around the hotel. If that unique, quiet setting is what you're looking for, this is it.

The rooms are beautiful, modern, and high class, with big doors and plenty of space. Everything feels good quality. I especially liked the wooden floor and the smoky mirrored wardrobe doors. Though it's in the city's historical center, the hotel has a very modern feel and good design.

The staff were incredibly thoughtful and caring, and the service was more than exceptional. My room had lovely high ceilings and lighting, and the interior design felt carefully considered. The hotel itself is great, with the rooftop pools and sauna as an added bonus. As someone with celiac disease, I felt very safe because a gluten-free breakfast was no problem at all.

This hotel deserves more than five stars. It's clean and beautiful, right in the city center, with very good, clean rooms. The people working there are respectful and kind. There's a swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi, and the quality is really good. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend visiting, and I'll come back next time I'm in Croatia.
