We chose this place hoping for some peace, but it was busy and loud, so we couldn't understand the positive reviews. There was a daily scramble for the few free sunbeds, which isn't relaxing. We booked breakfast and dinner, and the restaurant felt like a school cafeteria. I've rarely seen such a dreary buffet: the food was cheap and tasteless, and the whole thing felt like mass catering. I can only recommend it to a limited extent, though the facilities are okay for families with small children.

The bay was stunning, with water so clear and between 22 and 24°C depending on the weather. There were lots of loungers right beside the water across the resort grounds, and the spa had a heated indoor pool, sauna, and a small outdoor pool with bubble jets. We had a fantastic stay at Crvena Luka Resort from September 21st to 28th, 2023, booked through DIEHOLIDAYBUCHT. From check-in and the room to the half-board meals, everything was superb. Breakfast had loads of choice and was continually replenished. Dinner was varied, tasty, and high quality, with food still being replenished half an hour before service ended. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and every indoor and outdoor area was incredibly clean. It’s also a great base for hikes, bike rides, or drives to nearby bays and towns. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return. Thanks to the whole team.

We’d been looking forward to our first family holiday as a group of three, staying in one of the houses in the forest. Instead, we ended up in a worn-out room at the Kana Hotel. The privacy and access arrangements we were promised weren’t in place. The resort and bay were supposed to be private, with entry and exit controls and access limited to guests. In reality, day visitors came in, especially on weekends, including locals and holidaymakers staying in apartments outside the resort. And don’t rely on Google Maps: Holiday Bay is the Crvena Luka Resort.

The bay itself is lovely, with plenty of shaded sun loungers, but the hotel felt neglected. Our superior room was tiny and had almost nothing working: the safe, phone, and air conditioning were all out of order. We went to reception several times without getting anywhere, and the staff seemed completely uninterested. Breakfast was fine if you got there early, but food ran out. There were too few outdoor tables, and inside it felt like a canteen. The indoor pool was too cold. Mini-golf was closed, beach towels cost €3 per person per day, and the gym was chaotic, with no air conditioning, water, or towels. Such a shame.
