We'd happily give this villa and its hosts six stars. The place is stunning, and to me it looked even better than the photos, from the rooms to the pool. The hosts were so accommodating, and nothing felt like too much trouble. They've thought of everything to make a holiday special. We're genuinely sad to be leaving today. Absolutely fantastic.

It's in a quiet spot, with several towns and a paddle tennis game just a quick drive away. The house is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and the pool is saltwater. Communication with the owners was easy: when we said we wanted to leave at 9:00 AM, they promptly said they'd be there at 8:50 AM. Checking out in person was really pleasant.

The nearby fruit and vegetable stand, just a two-minute walk away, had excellent produce. In neighboring Kastelir there's also a small grocery store with a great meat and grocery selection, and the best beaches are 10-15 minutes away by car. We stayed in Tar with two families in July 2022. The villa is thoughtfully arranged, with a place for everything, and it had everything we needed. Air conditioning made it easy to sleep even on hot nights. When anything came up, the owners were available and sorted it out quickly. A great stay, worth every penny.
