The host was really unpleasant. I broke a plate by accident, and on the morning we were leaving he locked the gates and demanded 100 euros for it. For 20 minutes he kept us in the backyard, sitting comfortably and repeating that we had to pay, even though our child was crying in the car and scared. He only stopped when he realized I was calling the police. It took us 3.5 hours to get out, and we missed our boat tour. Please don't choose this host!
A calm, pleasant place with a friendly host. The apartment was clean and cared for, the air conditioning worked, and the sea is very close.
We booked two apartments for ten people for seven nights, but ended up leaving after just two days. The host said we were breaking his rules: siesta from 2-6 PM, no grilling, and no balcony after 10 PM, even if we stayed quiet and played no music. The location wasn't right for us either, so we agreed together that we'd leave and he would refund us. Once we moved elsewhere, though, he changed his mind and wouldn't confirm our checkout on the booking form. He said there'd be no refund because he hadn't thrown us out, and after several calls to booking, we couldn't get anywhere. He denied promising anything and said it wasn't his fault. We lost 6,000 złoty. I can't recommend this place.
There are plenty of places to explore nearby by car, including Lake Vrana, Zadar, Šibenik and the Krka waterfalls. The beach here is beautiful, and three others are a little farther away. The apartments suit longer holidays and have good equipment, plus each has its own parking spot in the fenced lot. It's open around the clock, and other cars don't get in your way when entering or leaving. The owners are happy to welcome families with children. From the hosts' kindness to the reasonable prices, it was all worth praising. Definitely worth a visit.
The owner was very accommodating and had us settled by 9 am, so after the tiring trip we didn't have to wander around waiting. He was helpful well beyond what he needed to do. The accommodation itself was modern, clean, and pleasant, and the sea is close. For a local outing, we'd recommend a boat trip from Vodice harbor toward Kornati, including a stop at salt lake Mír. Boat company Destina.
