Apartments Lira

It was peaceful and a lovely place to stay, a bit away from the bustle of Dubrovnik. The host was super kind, and the apartment had almost everything I needed. I really enjoyed being there and would book again if I got the chance to visit dubrovnik.

The beach at the bottom of the garden was great for swimming and snorkelling, and we absolutely loved the jacuzzi. My daughter and I stayed for four days and had a lovely time. We arrived about an hour and a half ahead of the stated check-in time, but the hosts warmly invited us in. They were friendly and attentive throughout, and the apartment was spotless and finished to a very high standard. We didn't need a car. The bus stop is a short walk up the hill, then turn right and right again when you reach the main road. There's a path for almost all of the route, and the 10-15 minute walk felt safe. The welcome drink was refreshing, and the bottle of wine waiting for us was a thoughtful touch. Thanks so much for making our stay special. Esther and Carla.

We stayed in the Studio, a large single room with a kitchenette, sofa bed, dining table, and balcony overlooking the sea. Elena welcomed us warmly with a cold drink. The place is convenient for exploring the Dubrovnik area and Montenegro, and it's near Cavtat, which is a great spot in its own right. There were a few things that could use attention. The bathroom shower can't be hung on a hook, the rooms could use a touch-up, and there aren't any signs directing you to the place, so we had to call the owner for directions. Also, with no blinds on the balcony door, you'll wake up very early. Even so, I'd recommend staying here.

A quiet spot with a nice Adriatic view, away from the rush of Dubrovnik. The kitchen is small and basic, and there's a beach about a 10-minute walk away. From the airport, a taxi takes 15 minutes. Local bus 10 reaches the city in 20 minutes, and there is a restaurant at the top of the hill beside the main highway.
