The balcony was enormous, about the size of the room, with a table and comfortable chairs. Unfortunately, smoke from the dining area's large barbecue fireplace drifted onto it and into the room when it was lit, so sitting outside was unpleasant. It only burned for about an hour in the evening, though. Inside, the room was spacious and bright, with modern furniture in great shape. The staff were very friendly, and I could park my motorbike right by the entrance. Breakfast was tasty and served at the table rather than set out as a buffet, but there was no coffee, so I started the day without my usual caffeine. I also found the bathroom a bit dated and in need of some upkeep. The toilet paper holder was made for larger rolls and wouldn't hold a regular one. I had the homemade pasta and fish soup for dinner, and both were delicious.

The service was great, and the meal ended up among the best stops on our whole trip. We had fish soup, fried calamari, and beefsteak with fries. Everything was delicious.

Paying by card felt really uncomfortable. When we asked to use one, the waitress took it and walked out of the room without asking the cardholder to come along. I assumed she had a portable payment terminal, but she didn't explain what she was doing. Given how sensitive card details are and how easily they can be misused, I found that completely unacceptable. The food was mixed: the pancakes were horrible and the risotto wasn't cooked through. The pasta and soups we tried were okay. A weird place.

In the middle of winter, I was glad to find somewhere open for dinner. The place felt new and was very clean, and the service was easily the best I've had anywhere in Croatia. Prices were surprisingly affordable too. I'll definitely come back.
