The staff made a real difference. They were attentive and remembered our coffee orders each morning, as well as my gluten allergy. The food was fresh and delicious at all the property's restaurants, and the buffet breakfast had choices for everyone. The hotel is huge and has incredible views, with beach access and an easy trip into Split if you want to go out. It's also very kid-friendly, with plenty for children to do, including a tennis court and indoor and outdoor pools. We had a relaxing five-star stay. My only suggestions: it would be helpful to have water in the lobby for filling bottles before going outside, and sunscreen available to buy or use. I highly recommend it.

The people here really made our stay. Oleksandra in the spa helped arrange a romantic sunset walk along the river. Each morning, Rica May welcomed us and gave excellent breakfast service. She also suggested Mirabella fortress in Omis, which turned out to be a trip highlight. We ate well at both Conlemani and Port 74, and Ana and the manager at Port 74 went out of their way to make the visit special. The hotel is right on the beach in Lav, near Podstrana and Split, and we had a wonderful time.

If you want a resort-style stay away from busy Split, the location works really well, and the service was fantastic. Our room was clean and nice, though the sea view was only okay. It faced the marina, which blocked part of the view, and all the lights there made it harder to enjoy the ocean from the balcony at night.

For comfort, extra service, and amenities, this is the hotel to stay at. The spa and sports facilities are top-notch: the gym is fully equipped, and the sauna and indoor and outdoor pools are well maintained. There's also bar and food service at the beach and spa.

A Marriott right by the Adriatic, just a few meters from the sea. I saw people swimming there, and the pools are gorgeous, especially the infinity pool. Five stars at every level.
