The price was very good, the host was friendly, and the apartment had all the equipment we needed. We could hear and see the Rastoke waterfalls, but not so much that it disturbed our sleep. We enjoyed our stay and thought the value for money was good, so I'd recommend the room. The sheets and pillows weren't clean, though. We also found a spider and a mantis in the room, which might bother some people.

The owners were really kind and helpful, and the apartment was very clean with new furniture and all the utensils we needed. It's comfortable and has a wonderful view of the village of Rastoke. You can hear the waterfall, which made a great sound for meditating. It's a good base for visiting Plitvice, about a 30-minute drive from the lakes.

Shops, cafes, and restaurants are all nearby, though getting around means dealing with steep hills and steps. We were there in early June, so mosquito repellent is a must. The village itself is beautiful, full of waterfalls and working mills, and the museum is worth visiting just for the views. The apartment was small but well laid out, and our hosts offered us a welcome drink.

I spent Christmas here and the owners even brought us cookies. The place was cozy and comfortable, and spending Christmas Eve in the yard sauna was just as great. They have several apartments, so there are options for staying with family or a partner.

The hosts were very pleasant, and the clean, comfortable apartment had everything we needed. It overlooks Rastoke. I liked it.
