Apartment Mara

I wouldn't recommend this place. Room No. 6, on the mezzanine, is very dated, with old furniture and ancient bedding. There's no air conditioning, and the room smells damp. The feather pillows have absorbed moisture, and I also spotted a cockroach in the bathroom. It badly needs renovation. I couldn't find this room in the official listing, so I suspect the rent may be being paid illegally. I also wasn't registered on e Visitor or given a receipt for the €120 I paid in cash for 3 nights to the landlady Marija, who was not kind.

Marija was so warm and kind, and we felt right at home. The accommodation has a balcony and everything we needed, with the beach close by. Thanks for such a lovely stay, we hope to come back soon ♥️☺️

We've stayed here twice and slept well, thanks to the quality mattresses, blankets, and pillows, plus the very quiet air conditioning that could run through the night. The bathroom and apartment were clean, and parking is across the street. The thin walls are a drawback: we could hear everything from neighboring rooms, and we were fortunate to have quiet neighbors. It could be hard for a family with small children staying next door. Wi-Fi is very weak. In the kitchen there are two hotplates, a kettle, microwave, and coffee maker, with enough dishes for two. Decent accommodation for a fair price.

The balcony was a great spot for breakfast, with a table, chairs, a sun lounger, and a drying rack. Parking was adequate too. The apartments are basic, with a kitchenette and balcony, and what you see matches the photos. It wasn't fresh or new, but it was very clean. We had two separate bathrooms, one in the bedroom and one in the room with the kitchenette. There was a microwave, TV, small fridge, and air conditioning. The towels were poor, and we missed having a regular knife. I would've liked a toaster. The food was fool. A pleasant place, recommended, and for that I give it a solid 4.
