The family atmosphere is something to keep in mind: kids are loud, cry, and yell everywhere, from the pool to the restaurant. They’re just being kids, but if you want a quiet break or to lie by the pool listening to birds, this may not be the place for you. I’ve read complaints about noise and wondered whether those guests understood what family-friendly means. We gave it 5 stars for the potential, though I was torn between 4 and 5. The sea side of the resort was still a construction site during our stay, with noise, trucks, and dirt. That work was meant to finish by mid June, and after that it should be a full 5 star resort. What worked especially well was the service. Staff were great everywhere, always smiling. Even in the busy buffet, with small kids all around, restaurant servers stayed calm, and housekeeping staff were friendly. The room, pools, spa, and play rooms were spotless. I don’t know how they keep everything that clean at this scale. Our room was cleaned 2x per day, which felt like overdoing it, though it’s their policy. I hope they can keep up that level of service over time. The shared showers and toilets were clean all the time, and had luxury toiletries with an amazing smell. We had all inclusive, with 4 meals a day, and the food variety and quality were outstanding for a resort this size. The pizza they served every day was amazing, more like gourmet pizza than buffet food. Bars, cocktails, live music, and a great atmosphere were there almost every night. Kids had a very diverse range of activities. And the pools are heated, with water always between 32-34*C. The SPA was amazing too.

Before booking, take time to check which option suits you best. Pical has three separate accommodation choices, each with its own dining and service setup. The all-inclusive package is closer to full board, so check the details in advance if you expect a traditional all-inclusive stay. We chose the V Level experience, and I can’t recommend it enough. The food, service, and attention to detail were truly exceptional, exactly what I’d hope for from a five-star stay. It lifted the whole resort to another level. Pical Family Hotel is an impressive resort, with world-class facilities, pools, children’s entertainment, the Maro Club, and so much to keep a family busy. Our two kids had the best time, and it’s hard to fault as a family destination. The person who made our holiday unforgettable was Krešimir Vidović, Concierge and Guest Relations Manager. His professionalism, warmth, and care for guests are second to none. He was attentive to every detail, nothing was too much trouble, and his personal touches included a wonderful birthday surprise. It’s rare to feel so valued as a guest. He turned a good holiday into an unforgettable one. We’ll absolutely be back, and hope Krešimir will be there to welcome us.

The whole resort had a relaxing, high-quality feel, and my room was modern, comfortable, functional, and well designed. Everything was very clean. The pools and wellness area were excellent, and being so close to the sea made it a great place to get away. Staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

The activities cover plenty for adults and children, including sports, relax, spa, lab and games for kids. The grounds are spacious and beautifully landscaped. The hotel is modern, elegant, stunning, and immaculately maintained, with everything thoughtfully designed and well put together. What mattered most to me was how the staff handled my severe allergies. I’m usually anxious about traveling, but I felt completely safe here. The team, especially miss Jela, checked ingredients carefully, adjusted things without hesitation, and made sure I could enjoy every meal without worry. That care made a huge difference and let me truly relax. Everyone we met was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. I recently stayed at the new Pical Resort and can’t recommend it enough. It delivers on the setting, service, and real care for its guests. I’m already looking forward to coming back in summer.
