Apartment Bonaca

We had a comfortable five-night stay in an apartment for three. The beds were comfy, the air conditioning and other equipment all worked well, and the place was clean with tasteful decor. The housekeeper was especially nice. The beach is very close, though reached by quite a few steps. There’s also a restaurant, cafe and shop in the village, so we had what we needed for a vacation. I recommend it!

The only thing I can say positively is that the “beach” was close. Our nearly week-long family vacation was spoiled by the poor accommodation, and we spent a lot of money without feeling comfortable. My son had been really looking forward to the trip. For us, the price-to-value ratio was zero. The ground-floor apartment's terrace couldn't be used. Everyone walked through it, so we couldn't even sit out for breakfast. It was advertised with a sea view, but all we saw was a wall and stairs. To see the sea, we had to use the shared barbecue area in front of the house, and that was a lottery since other guests might already be there. That's very different from what was advertised. The apartment was cramped, with nowhere to put things. There wasn't even a table or dresser, so we dressed out of our bags. It really wasn't suitable for a family of three, and I don't understand why the owner rents such a tiny apartment to three people. The kitchen was poorly equipped. In 2022 there was no microwave, so everything had to be heated on the electric hob. We had to ask separately for dish soap and a sponge. The fridge was hard to open unless we moved the chairs and pulled the table away. The bedding was a joke: no blanket, just a sheet to cover ourselves with. The shower cubicle barely fit one person, and I'm not a giant. The walls were extremely thin, so we could hear every word and conversation.

The beach is just 30 meters away, about 50 steps, and the water entry is child-friendly. With the small pebbles, though, water shoes are recommended. We stayed two weeks in an apartment for five people. It was clean, pleasant and very well kept, and the host was kind and helpful.

The view is beautiful, and the location is fantastic, right by the beach. It seems ideal for families with small children. The cleaning products listed in the description were missing, though they were replaced.
