The room's air conditioning worked really well, though the bed was very hard. We were close to excellent restaurants and only five minutes from the best beach. Parking was a ten-minute walk away, so carrying our bags in the extreme heat was unpleasant, but otherwise I didn't mind.

The pool was closed, and there was no sauna or other advertised facility available. They sent us to another hotel to swim, but reception couldn't explain the details. Towels there cost 30 kunas each, plus a 70 kuna deposit, and the pool was dirty and overcrowded, with cheap plastic chairs at the so-called pool bar. Reception staff also couldn't answer basic questions about the hotel or area. I don't understand the four-star rating; this place didn't deserve even two. Definitely avoid.

What stood out at Vrilo was the sea view from every room's own balcony, especially at sunset, and the location. The people there also gave us useful tips about beaches, places to visit, and getting around. Breakfast isn't extensive, and after more than four days it can feel repetitive. You might find a cheaper apartment in Postira, but I'd definitely recommend Vrilo.
