Apartments Flora

The pool had loungers, and the kitchen was well equipped. We chose this apartment to extend our vacation, and the location was good enough to make the price feel fair. The place was clean, though the furniture was a bit scuffed and the apartment showed its age. Air conditioning was only in the living room, not the bedroom.

The building is noisy, parking is limited, and the apartment complex feels run-down. The air conditioning does work, which makes the nights tolerable. It's within walking distance and near a nature reserve. Fine for two people, but the sofa bed is treated as a double bed, and the price feels too high.

The clothes rack kept folding in on itself, so it was no use. The apartment itself was nice, but it wasn't what we booked: we expected two bedrooms and a living room, but got one bedroom plus a mezzanine over the living room. There was no wall or door between them, so the second sleeping area had no privacy (see photo 1). The stairs up to it were wobbly and had a railing on just one side (see photo 2). They aren't suitable for children or elderly people.

The staff spoke fluent English, and we were warmly welcomed when we booked spontaneously. It was very quiet, probably because of the pandemic, so I can't say how it is when fully booked. The clean, spacious apartment sleeps 4 + 2, and bed linens and towels were included, which saved us luggage space. It's next to the campsite and national park, with different beaches and coves nearby; cliff divers can jump from about 14 meters. The town has what tourists need, and Pula is close. Nothing to complain about.
