Villa Franko

We were very relieved when it was time to leave. The hosts were unpleasant and disrespectful, yelling at guests and constantly watching them. Even though we paid extra for the air conditioner, they wouldn’t let us use it whenever we wanted, saying it wasn’t that hot and that we were the only ones using it. This didn’t feel like a place for a family with children. The kids weren’t allowed to run on the beach or move chairs in the apartment because of the noise. As one guest put it, the fish in the sea have more rights than children. Booking was also a problem: after we reserved through booking, the hosts contacted us the next day to say those dates were no longer available, then offered different dates and asked us to pay them directly, apparently to avoid booking.com. A terrible experience and a huge disappointment.

A lovely choice if you want to get away from crowds and noise. The rooms were clean, the hosts were nice, and there’s a private beach. From the balcony you get a wonderful view, and it’s a really quiet place to relax. I fully recommend the apartment.

The eight days went by so fast that I barely had time to take in all the beauty. I had a wonderful vacation with friends at Villa Franko, where I stayed for the first time on August 1st. The villa has a private beach, and it’s just 41 steps down to the sea, with crystal-clear water. Everything was very, very good, and the room had everything I needed. The place has a cozy, homely feel, and the hosts went out of their way to make sure I had everything. Thank you so much!

The owners were wonderful, and we felt like family. This place won me over. Each room has a balcony overlooking the sea, optional air conditioning, a kitchenette with a stove, kettle, microwave, fridge, and dishes, plus a bathroom. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning. It’s a great holiday spot away from the crowds, right on the coast, with just a flight of stairs down to the private beach. I recommend it to everyone for a lovely vacation.
