Booby the guard dog wins you over right away, and the hostess was wonderful. Our rooms were clean, with adequate amenities. Buses were convenient: Veruleda beaches were a four-minute ride away, and the city center was eleven kuna, or €1.50. They ran every twenty minutes until 11:30 PM. We enjoyed the aquarium and Pula itself, and a drive to Cape Kamenjak took fifteen minutes and was definitely worthwhile.
