Apartments Monte Magno

The owners were lovely, and we had no problems with anything. Outside, there's a grill and seating, and parking is inside the property behind a locked gate. They gave us a remote to open it. Public transport line 8 stops right outside the house and goes to the center of Pula. You can buy tickets ahead on the transport company's website, generate a QR code, then have the driver scan it. A non-transferable ticket costs 1.5 euros, so getting around Pula is easy. The apartment was clean and pretty, with everything you need to feel at home: very comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a nice bathroom with a bidet, working air conditioning, and a small balcony. The beaches are a bit far, so we brought scooters. You can also carefully ride along the sidewalk beside the main road. We went to Pješčana Uvala beach, 3.5 km away. We saw jellyfish-like sea gooseberries at most beaches, but found out they aren't dangerous to people.

The house sits on a hill in the Valdebek district, about a 28-minute easy walk from town. It has two apartments and a studio, and the owners live there. We stayed in the 24 m² studio, one room beside the garage. After coming back, we could feel dampness in the walls. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and the TV only got Astra1 satellite. The owners spoke only Croatian, or didn't want to speak English. There's a small garden with a grill, but we couldn't use it since you have to walk around the whole house to get there. For this price, you can find 100 better places. We were careless and ended up here.

A simple place with good taste and wonderful people. City Mall is 3 minutes away, and the beach is 15 minutes away. It's well located, highly recommended, and I'll definitely return.

The hosts were kind and wonderful, and the apartment was clean and nice. Great location.
