Arena Verudela Beach Resort & Verudela Villas

We went in the off season, and with fewer people around, the place was just right. The beaches were easy to get to, the pools were nice, and our room had a great view. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The food was good, though expensive, which I suppose is normal for the location. We found some reasonably priced restaurants not far away, too. The A2 entertainment room for kids was amazing. There weren’t any programs running in the off season, but the room itself was still great and my kid spent hours there. I also liked that dogs are allowed pretty much everywhere. I can imagine it getting packed and obnoxious in tourist season, but I’d definitely recommend going off season.

The rooms were clean, nice, and fully equipped, and for the location and price it was a very good room. We stayed in October, and breakfast wasn’t available at the hotel then, so we had to go to another nearby hotel or into the city centre. The reception wasn’t especially friendly, though we didn’t interact much. Parking near the apartments was difficult. The location by, or at least close to, the beach was wonderful. I wish the bathroom door gave a bit more privacy, and that the shower kept the water in better. After one shower the whole floor was a lake. Thank you.

The noise was the biggest problem. For all 11 nights, we had very loud neighbors, often until 3 in the morning, and couldn’t sleep at all. Even with the doors and windows closed, there was very little soundproofing. The place itself has beautiful views, crystal clear water at the beaches, and classy restaurants with reasonable prices. But the beaches aren’t very child friendly.

A great family spot where you can have fun and relax without needing to leave the resort.
