S. Martino Rooms

The neighborhood was quiet, with little shops nearby and a bigger supermarket just 5 minutes away. The station is 15 minutes on foot if you want to walk. I had the whole apartment to myself, including a kitchen and bathroom, and a corridor that helped block noise from the tenants' staircase. My room's window looked out onto a quiet courtyard. The place was elegant and spotless, and a very kind lady cleaned during my stay. The shared kitchen was comfortable and well stocked, even with spices and olive oil, and there was a shelf of books in the corridor. The host replied right away and clearly on messenger, and check-in and checkout were easy. I'll remember my time at San Martino Rooms fondly. It was perfect, and I hope to return 🥰.

It was just what we needed for one night. I arrived around 8 pm by ferry from Venice, and it was a 5-10 minute walk from the ferry and a 5 minute walk to downtown. There's also a very nice traditional Croatian restaurant about 5 minutes away. The host asked me to call when we arrived and came by within 10 minutes. She was extremely pleasant and even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. Outside, the place looked a bit sketchy in the dark, but once inside I was amazed. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and newly renovated. I'm writing this almost 2 years after my visit because I wanted to make time to recommend the place.

I've been to Pula before, but this was my first time staying somewhere that wasn't a relative's apartment. The host was efficient and hospitable, and our room was clean and cozy. Check-in and checkout were really quick and easy. The neighbours were friendly too, and even helped us park.

The staff helped with an early check-in, and all our WhatsApp messages got quick replies. There's a handy shared kitchen next to the rooms. The place is quiet, with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower. It's set away from the centre, but still close to everything.
