The room was tiny, with barely enough space to open a suitcase, and the bathroom had a cigarette smell. The air conditioning didn’t work, so we slept with the door open and could hear pedestrians and traffic. We couldn’t easily raise the problems because nobody was at reception. The elevator also stopped between floors, leaving us to carry our suitcase upstairs. Breakfast sounded fine as a basic continental buffet, but the bread was hard and stale, and there were rotting bananas out. This was our only stay in Pula, yet the worst place on our trip and the most expensive. For the price and four-star advertising, it was pretty disappointing. We don’t recommend it.

A lovely little boutique place right in Pula’s old town, at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was fantastic.

The hotel’s location is good and the rooms are decent, but checkout at 10 a.m. feels too early. We asked to stay one extra hour and reception wanted €50 per room. I could understand that if no rooms were available, but when rooms were available, charging that much for an hour felt purely opportunistic. Breakfast doesn’t finish until 11, either.

We had a great time here. The rooms on the second floor were really quiet, and the rooftop hot tub was just what our tired feet needed after a day of walking. Restaurants, bars, shops, and buses are all conveniently close. I’d stay again if I’m back in Pula.
